Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How long will it take to receive my order in the mail?

Orders are processed within 2 business days, and you can expect your order within 2-5 weeks.

Note: Due to the New Year/Spring Festival holidays (Jan. 29-Feb. 15), some of our manufacturers have limited stock and/or staff. Therefore, orders may take 7-10 days longer than normal processing time. Please add this extra time to your expectation during this holiday period each year. 

  1. What is sizing like for The LA Market?

Sizing is very subjective and also varies between products, however our clothing generally fits to size. If you are concerned, we recommend messaging our main Instagram page (@thelamarketplace) or emailing us (thelamarketco@gmail.com) so we can have our head designer answer your questions!

  1. What if my order is taking longer than expected?

Sometimes orders take a little longer than anticipated. Items are made to order, and with influxes of orders sometimes our manufacturer may be running a little behind. Try to be patient, we know you are just as excited as we are for you to get your new products!! (Don’t forget to send us pics!)

Once packages have been delivered to the shipping address you provided, or to your local post office the item(s) will be considered in your possession and we will not be held responsible for lost items after this point.

  1. What is your refund policy?

Returns & Exchanges

Exchanges. We are happy to work with you on exchanges. Should your items not fit, be defective, or not as ordered, contact us and we will happily work with you! We will take care of you :)

We do not offer refunds on discounted items. Our refund policy lasts 15 days from the time you receive your order, for items bought at full price. 
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it in. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete a return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Any item not in its original condition (worn or damaged for reasons not due to our error) are not refundable.
Any item that is returned more than 15 days after delivery is not refundable.

Any shipping costs are not eligible for refund.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned items. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded along with items bought using a discount code.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item, send us an email (thelamarketco@gmail.com) and we will give you further instructions.

Shipping
To return your product, please contact us by email (thelamarketco@gmail.com) for further instructions and mailing address.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs when returning items. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

  1. What if my order doesn't fit?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee sizing on any products sold in the store as everyone is built differently and will fill out clothing in different ways! We are always available for sizing questions and will do our best to send you item measurements so that you can make sizing decisions.
